La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Boise Airport

I enjoyed my one night stay in this hotel close to the airport and to be honest, close to the city too. The service was friendly and I did my pre check in online. The breakfast was basic but good, they had waffles, hot eggs and sausages, cereal, instant oatmeal, breads, yogurt, fruits, 2% milk and tea and coffee. And there was a person keeping the restaurant area very clean and I'll say all the areas that I saw were very clean This hotel also has pool, Jacuzzi, and a small gym with all the basics that you need. I definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Boise

I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. Each staff member I interacted with was very pleasant and friendly. The water heats up very quickly and actually lasts for a decent shower. The towels were a little stiff and worn out but they were clean and the room was stocked with enough to not need housekeeping services at all during my stay. The mattress was like sleeping in a bowl. Avoid the center where it sags a noticable 4-6 inches and the edges can provide a few hours of sleep. Lol While the bathroom lighting was nice and bright the 4 lamps in the room provided the worst light in the history of hotel lighting. The switch at the door as you enter hardly illuminates the entrance at all. Once the door was closed I couldn't see anything. I had to open the door to go further inside and turn on a lamp. They must use 15 watt bulbs in those lamps. I mean it, I couldn't see the color of my own eyes when I looked in the mirror! The fridge door wouldn't seal because the freezer control knob met the inside of the door. I think the freezer unit inside the fridge was probably replaced at some point and the wrong size was put in. Luckily I had packing tape with me so I taped the door closed to keep my items from spoiling. My final negative comment is about the tv. The sound fluctuated from really loud to really quiet no matter what channel or program was on. All in all, while fairly inexpensive, it wasn't luxurious but it was quiet, clean and better than the back of an suv.

Check in was super quick and easy. The bed was so comfortable, I knocked out within a few minutes. The room was extremely clean and smelled good. This is the first La Quinta that had a great breakfast. There were so many options for us. The general manager MaryAnn was so polite and helpful. She made us feel welcomed. We travel several times a year and this was the first time in years that I was truly happy with our hotel choice.

Clean rooms, clean amenities, the house staff were kind to help and friendly to talk to, they did need to be asked to lower their voices on our first morning, to which they did and no other issues. There was an older ish gentleman there, white shirt baseball cap that was always working and doing something, also, friendly and kind. Justin who worked the 7-3 shift Christmas morning was a very nice man and was also quick to help and quite friendly with humour. The pool was clean and warm, hot tub slightly warmer but the jets do not function properly, so it's more of a soaking pool. The vent up in the corner above the hot tub could use a good cleaning, Far too thick of dust on it. I understand LaQuinta is not set up to be a 5 star hotel, and this one specifically you could tell was run by the employees, and not the company. But there could be a few extra things done to tip the scales more in their favour. It's a clean bed, right off Vista, close to stores, downtown and the freeway. Price was right especially during Christmas.

We stayed at La Quinta Boise for the first time, and were perfectly pleased with our stay. It was just an easy couple of blocks from the airport, and Liz at the front desk was able to accommodate our early check-in (our flight arrived around noon). The room had all the important accommodations (microwave, coffee pot, mini fridge, etc), clean, quiet rooms, and the staff was always friendly, helpful, and available. Even had a full breakfast buffet with eggs, sausages, a waffle maker, fruits, juices, breads, and cereals, and other breakfast items. Their rates are very reasonable with easy booking options, and even offer military and other discounts. Over-all, it's a great value and we will definitely be staying at La Quinta next time we're in Boise! :)

Between Justin, the lovely young man that checked us in, and the pretty tall blonde curly haired woman this stay was wonderful! Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool and fitness center! Super kind staff and housekeeping.

Heater system was quite loud when it was running. The bed probably could be replaced... It swayed to the middle but not totally uncomfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was clean . The breakfast was excellent!!!

This is definitely an older property, but the price was excellent for a quick overnight close to the airport for an early flight. The pool is quite small, and nobody could find the jacuzzi jets switch for the hot tub, but we had the area to ourselves for a while which was nice. The breakfast was excellent. Couldn't get a rollaway (there are only 2 for the entire building). Overall, would consider staying here again because the price and location.
